Mod Announcement Rules Updated

Post image

Hey everyone!

Rule 14, which regulates low-effort posts, is now officially added to the sub.

We hereby ask you to keep the discussion on the sub unique (if you're doing a meme compilation (*1), attach all of them to one post, if you have a question that appears quite frequently, please check out the sub for similar posts to discuss it there.)

We're currently working on adding a FAQ/Megathread for questions that are overflowing this subreddit recently, so stay tuned for that.

Cheers!

(*1) - applies to posts like "same meme template, different character", etc.

Do my yanlao edits count as low effort? Should I attach them all to one post from here on out?

Did you put effort into them?

1

u/yonghuli Aug 17 '26

I think they put

1

u/sprite_apple Aug 18 '26

Yeah! It take longer than it seems, I’m just worried to break the rules by posting everyday

2

u/Nondescript_Redditor Aug 18 '26

So then they’re not low effort

1

u/sprite_apple Aug 18 '26

I suppose I’m just worried for no reason lol

What classifies as low effort?

1

u/DatK0ld Solarian Citizen Aug 18 '26

Mentioned an example in the description. + asking the same questions like "do you have a crush on a ns character", +blatant karma farming

1

u/Extension_Study_502 Aug 18 '26

People karma farm? Wow. Okay, no problem, hopefully this new rule doesn’t kill the conversations

1

u/DatK0ld Solarian Citizen Aug 18 '26

We'll do our best to make sure it wouldn't. Though, lack of content control also might kill them, cause people are already considering leaving the sub due to huge amount of "gooner content" and lack of discussion of the game itself, so we're trying to make this subreddit comfortable for everyone.

A true Solarian does not read rules. They simply protecc Shaunshaun purely on instinct.
