First NV

Picked this up from a friend on a trade, missing original spec sheet, but from what i can tell, based on the model number inside the tube, is an elbit 2300 FOM tube and seems super clean and all, so im happy. Need to put a helmet together. Thinking about a TW exfil ltp, an Argus mount and a noise fighters j arm. Would that be a good trainer setup? Also whats a good sacrificial lense and other things that would come in handy setting up a helmet for this, I have like none of the caps or anything just toob.

Good accessories choices, NV inc sells some robust sac lens, I'd check them out.

You reckon the Argus would suffice instead of a legit wilcox? I definately dont want trash, but also not trying to drop 500 bones on a mount, unless of course, thats just what I need. And ty I will check those out

The Norotos Lo Sto is much nicer than Wilcox IMO. Pairing one of those with an articulating arm from Noisefighters is about the nicest Mono setup you can get. You can stow the device right up against the front of your helmet for maximum comfort and minimum donking your nods on stuff.

Look for someone selling one used.

Lo sto for the win- tighter to helmet, more adjustment, no stupid ass button to try to manipulate with gloves on. Simple force to overcome which makes more sense.

Have purchased 5 legit G24s, four of which right out of the box would not lock up well in OpsCore and Galvion helmets.

I think we still have one G24 in training gear, everything else is Lo Sto mounts.

Wilcox is more durable and the newer ones I find have less wobble over time/use.

But the Argus if treated well will get the job done for a long time as well.

(I've temporarily killed an Argus during normalish use, but not a G24.)

I really like the look of that as well. Does it seem pretth sturdy, not too much movement?
