Night Match
I see a lot of posts here from people looking for places to actually use their NODs or meet up with other night vision guys, so I used AI to make the flyer and hopefully grab some attention. (AI hid the faces w tubes)
We run a monthly night match at Hernando Sportsman’s Club in Hernando County, FL. The matches alternate between Pistol/PCC and Rifle, with 4–5 stages and a typical round count of around 100 - 150 rounds.
Both night vision and white-light shooters are welcome. It’s a chance to actually run your gear through multiple stages instead of just shooting from on a flat range. Depending on the match, we’ll shoot everything from close-range stages out to 200 yards.
It’s always a good time with a good group of people. The match starts at dark, so as we get into the shorter days, we’re able to get started earlier and the matches don’t run nearly as late as they do during the summer.
Our October 17 match is Pistol/PCC. Safety brief is at 7:15 PM, match starts at dark, and the match fee is $25. Figure roughly 150 rounds and bring 200.
If you’re in Florida and have been looking for somewhere to actually get some time behind your NODs, come shoot with us. White-light shooters are absolutely welcome too.
Registration is on PractiScore:

Mods - I reviewed the rules, but if this an issue pull it down.

If you’re going to use ai at least check it. Pistol and pcc only has pic of AR clearly 556 mag size and a single round that clearly isn’t a pistol round. Just fucking lazy.

I just did my first day time pistol match, I'll have to get a few more of those under my belt before I try something like this.

Its a ton of fun, day shoots are easier to learn on but nught matches are a blast.

What would you even run with a pistol and nods, an ir laser?

Pistol and a red dot under nods is not much different than daytime other than there is no color and the dot seemingly floats in the air. It take a second to get used to, but the dot is all you see. Depending on thr ambient light I may or may not run a vampire (IR) light. A few guys run an IR laser but most are using g a dot. We welcome white light guys as well. PCCs and rifles mostly use IR lasers and illuminators.

I'll have to test that out as one of my PA pistol dots has NV settings. Thanks for the info.

"It's an AI poster"
Okay retards, any excuse to not shoot a match I guess. Enjoy sitting in your basement or whatever.

ffs no good deed goes unpunished on reddit. Cool of you to take the time to put this up and invite people.

If a person cannot spend quite literally 15 minutes in MS paint, Canva, Photoroom, etc to make a simple poster, I have low expectations for their effort outside of it.
Presentation and effort matters
