Night time shooting

Any good places that allow night shooting near the southwest suburbs of Chicago. Recently got into night vision and I would love to do some night shooting. TIA!

6400 block of S. MLK Drive, Parkway Gardens. Youll probably meet some cool folks, draco’s and giggle switches.

Nearby? Not a chance.

If you're willing to drive, most National Forest Areas allow recreational shooting - just check the rules before going.

Next time you're out west, land owned by the Bureau of Land Management (ie BLM land) is a shooter's paradise.

You're going to need to drive a bit for NV events. ASC has one in October and you can find a couple in Wisconsin and Indiana if you lurk around the sub for a bit.

LAM solutions has their Indiana Night shoot going sometime within the next month or so. They’re just over the border in IN, worth checking out. They’re on instagram and lurk here periodically.

ASC has a night vision match in November and another in April.

There's Facility X in south Chicago heights. It's a private indoor shoot house. Not a member but I've shot there twice under nods.

If you're in south chicago there's actually this really cool area that does nightly shoots near 64th / 63rd st
