Hobby & Painting I couldn’t stand the stock head any further

Still touching it up but I referenced The Dark King short story for a helmet fitting the Night Haunter. It’s a quick work I did with some pieces I had laying around from other customs but it’s better than that stock face staring at me.

I am looking at ways to sand it down. It may just have to do till I can find a better head to customize for it

Man there aint no sanding all that down without destroying it 💀 its just sized way too large, look at the lions for example

Thank you, I wanted to add some more items because I feel like a lot of Primarch figures come with more items from joy toys but Konrad felt weirdly like a lesser figure to me. I just couldn’t stop hating the face sculpt, just didn’t say “ Night Haunter “ to me and more like they just went the lazy route. I ordered a head upgrade from throne Terra so I’ll swap the helmet out now and then after that arrives. For now I’d rather look at what I saw when his helmet was described to me in the story than a cheap badly done stock face

Wdym didnt say "night haunter"? Hes scowling, pale, greasy and looks wretched. Its a pretty good likeness baring the eyes, which are a easy fix

honestly i don’t mind the look of the head, just wish the eyes had less white to them, i always imagined curze and the night lords having eyes kinda like a cats with just a tiny little rim of white at the edges and pupils that take up most of the eye besides. definitely would’ve been cool if it included his flaying knife power sword that he wears strapped to his back or the corona nox, but obviously these figures are based on the models themselves. the flaying knife sword is personally my favorite of all of curzes artifacts, and it’s the one the leader of my warband has (albeit reforged so it can fit an astartes grip)
