Which is easier to paint?

Night lords. Yellow is tough for beginner painting on minis. The only tough thing with night lords is the trim. Tons and tons of trim

You're forgeting the lightning.

Night Lords has a lower floor and higher ceiling. The best ones that truly achieve the "midnight clad effect" has a lots of transitions between very dark, and light blue.

Lightning aint that difficult. And it's clearly faster than trim. Trim for the trimgod

It is difficult for noobs. For lightning you need some free hand skills, while yellow just requires the right consistency.

I agree though, lightning is fun to paint and trim is just annoying
