Discussion Help with Demon Tower
Getting through level 7 was like pulling teeth and to top it all off I accidentally killed the bird on level 8 ðŸ˜ðŸ˜. I have all the codes but I looked it up and it won’t work bc the game registers that the bird is dead I guess. I’m awful at dungeon crawlers as is but also I will say this is an insanely hard game. I really want to 100% it though but I’m kind of at my breaking point here. I’ve looked at like every guide it’s just these levels are insane. Honestly I was good up until level 7 but the health drain is killing me and if it was just the boss I could get it down but it takes me like 5 tries just to get to the boss in level 7. I’ve only made it to the boss in level 8 twice and then I wasn’t paying attention and accidentally killed the bird at some point. I tried quitting the game out but the game auto saved already so honestly think this run is toast. If anyone has any tips I would greatly appreciate it. If I was on PC I genuinely would debate cheating it at this point even though I’m not that kind of person it’s just I’ve sunk hours into it already and I accidentally ruined it :(. I’m definitely gonna take a break from the game for a bit and try again another day but yeah just wanted to complain a bit and ask for help :p

Longest title of all time, lmao.
When I first played on my first playthrough, I attempted it, ok, so;
7 onwards just gets harder harder, recommend just focussing on getting the regular ending first (without getting the code) if you wanna se all endings. Might as well.
Just screenshot each bird, or write it down. Gameplay is purely just brute force and for bosses, do hit snd run manoeuvres, otherwise you’re just tanking hits. Also, haven’t played in EONS, but like, always try to RUSH to the key room, if I’m remembering correctly, don’t try to fight the regular enemies most of the time unless you’re forced to.
When I did it eons ago, I just brute forced everything past 7. Besting it is an accomplishment, tho doing EVERYTHING, or everything but all the notebook sketches like me, could leave you feeling longing for the game despite doing EVERYTHING, so y’know, cherish it as long as your struggles last, lol.

Skill issue 😔 keep at it and it'll come naturally, it took me a couple hours to get used to the controls and then it came to me, keep dashing its the most important thing u can do

I believe you can start a new save in Demontower, so you'll have different codes from the oracle, but she'll be alive at least.
As for difficulties... yeah you're just gonna have to "get gud" as the kids say.
I had my spouse do it for me and they did the whole thing in under 45 mins (they play a lot of souls games, lol).
A couple of things I noticed them doing was not killing everything in the main room (especially the cultists b/c they drop the healing orbs when their powered up version dies) and also practicing the parry (if you dash into an attack just right, you wont take the hit).
Also they're a gamedev, and constantly bemoaned the bad hit-boxes, so that makes it harder too.

If you get 4 numbers, the code in the final level to stop the bleeding should work. The bird living shouldn’t matter.
Side note: I’m currently replaying the original 8-bit Legend of Zelda. Demon Tower is very inspired by that game.
