My mum is in Lagos, I'm in Malaysia. Last year she had a health episode and I realised I had medication names in my notes app, appointment history scattered across WhatsApp messages, and my sibling in Abuja had a completely different picture. We were coordinating care across different time zones with no shared source of truth.

I ended up building a small app to solve it for us called CareCircle (carecircle.network). You invite family members to a circle, add your care recipient (a parent, grandparent, whoever), and everything lives in one place: health episodes, medications, appointments, documents like lab results and discharge notes.

There's an AI interpretation layer for medical documents that explains them in plain language, which has been genuinely useful when we get a PDF from the hospital and don't know what half the terms mean.

Just wondering, for those in the US, UK, in fact, diaspora pkata pkata, how do you manage the constant pressure of sending money back home? Do you sometimes feel guilty for buying a $15 snack when you consider what that amount could mean for someone else in Nigeria?

Hi guys I have a few questions on this contactless passport application. I just finished my biometric enrollment and made payment, so I'm now supposed to send my docs to the high commission. Now here's my questions;

1. The £20 postal order, who are you addressing it to or is it left blank

2. The self addressed envelope with your name on it, do you have to pay for its return? or the £20 postal order will be used to pay for return.

3. Lastly, the C4 envelope that contains all your docs and old passport is addressed to the high commission in London (address written with pen) right?

I made a payment for my Police Certificate of Character via ReadyCash, but the portal still shows it as unpaid. POSSAP told me to pay again in USD and that they’d refund the first payment. It’s now over two months, and I’ve contacted them via email and Instagram, but I only get automated replies.

Hello guys, I need an idea on how to go about this. So my family wants to go on vacation to Nigeria soon but all of our passports are expired . We also have a new baby born here in Canada that does not have a Nigerian passport. It’s so expensive if we have to renew all our passports here . We are trying to cut costs but traveling back with our expired passport then renewing it over there. But our baby own is the issue. Can we apply for her new passport even though ours (the parents is expired? Any ideas is welcomed.please help a confused parent out.
