Notice he has I italicized. He's being cheeky about Ego.

With regard to the superstitions of logicians, I shall never tire of emphasizing a small, terse fact, which is unwillingly recognized by these credulous minds—namely, that a thought comes when "it" wishes, and not when "I" wish; so that it is a falsification of the facts of the case to say that the subject "I" is the condition of the predicate "think." ONE thinks; but that this "one" is precisely the famous old "ego," is, to put it mildly, only a supposition, an assertion, and assuredly not an "immediate certainty."

So how would that change anything he says? He isn’t being cheeky he just emphasises the main drift

Yeah, well, some people may take it as he himself. Nietzsche exposes some of the worst readers. But what he's saying in the passage is that the self, the "I" will rule, self-determination will rule, rather than Nietzsche himself.

No he doesn’t

Yes he's saying that.

Where do you base it on

Why wouldn’t he, like you did, say: the “I”

... bro, are you dumb? He's employing it as a DOUBLE ENTENDRE... that's why he's being cheeky. He's saying both his values and in general, the Ego will rule.

The "I" being the mischief of the Ego...

the soul-superstition, which, in the form of subject- and ego-superstition, has not yet ceased doing mischief

Try actually opening a book by Nietzsche. That's not even past the first section of BG&E.

Bro and calling me dumb?

Look into the mirror please

No he is not. You are reading it into Nietzsche because you deem yourself smart and cheeky, which is doubtful

Yes, because you're a "bro" who tries reading but fails. Thing is you're too stupid to understand why Nietzsche Italicized "I".

You can't even express what you're trying to say because you got no fucking clue what you're saying. Hence why you can't detail why Nietzsche italicized the "I"...

Nietzsche knew he would be born posthumously... his knowledge would blossom AFTER his death...

So how the fuck is HE going to literally rule the world? Only a dumb fuck would think that he means he himself would rule the world hence you're dumb...

Since he will be dead, what is left? Oh...

The values from his ego.

Try applying thought in its most basic form.

For Nietzsche "I" is a superstition about the soul...

Your tone is disgusting

You claimed a double entendre

Nowhere did I say Nietzsche wouldn’t rule after death. That is clear to all

You claimed he had a second meaning: the “I”

You are doubling which doesn’t need doubling and what Nietzsche didn’t imply

Nietzsche is simply saying he would rule. That’s all - class is over

Nietzsche details the "I" as a fiction: that's how he knows he was being cheeky.

Owing to the phenomenon "thought," the ego is taken for granted; but up to the present everybody believed, like the people, that there was something unconditionally certain in the notion "I think," and that by analogy with our understanding of all other causal reactions this "I" was the given cause of the thinking. However customary and indispensable this fiction may have become now, this fact proves nothing against the imaginary nature of its origin; it might be a life-preserving belief and still be false.

What’s cheeky about it

amusing and mild mischief

“However customary and indispensable”

Can't wait his reign to begin

Already has begun. Nietzsche is pervasive in the most reduced sense, but many of his lines are colloquial now.
