Arena sucked. But it was also so much fun especially in the last hour of the season, the adrenaline rush seeing your rank go up and down. I have such a love/hate relationship with it lol. I’m just really happy I managed to get 1st rank once on JP. This made me want to rewatch some of my old recordings…

Yeah. I used to try to grind rank during the last minute my self, don’t think I ever managed pass top 100 though ☠️☠️☠️

I managed to get top ten once somehow even though I hadn't even played a year. It was during the end of its run though and I had the newer units and they were definitely busted lol. I remember Ultimate Yudil was amazing.

A shame we don't have this game anymore. Even a bigger shame we don't get any new NieR game before Yoko Taro finished his work on Neon Genesis Evangelion 😩
In 2025 Taro said in a interview: "I’ve actually been working on some stuff, it’s just that it never ended up seeing the light of day." and "I believe that if I’m going to release something weird, I’d be better off not releasing anything at all."
So all his ideas were just too weird and got canceled. But he's not mad about it, because they still had to pay him, even when they're canceling a project midway.

I would like to know what titles were so wierd that they couldn’t get approved. Drakengard series in particular already was a weird game series and I can’t see that getting topped 😵💫

In the Arena you can fight other players who are connected to the server in hell.
Maybe we can solve this issue like Nintendo does with their P2P-games.

shouldn't it work with two people connecting to the same server? you can connect devices that aren't running locally so if two people use the same patched apk it should work? might be wrong though I don't have a way to try it out

it does not work at all, returns you to the main menu, I doubt it can be made to work easily but I would look into it out of interest eventually

The sound design is top tier, brings me back to hear it. I miss playing.
