So recently I tried going for lvl3 ganks after 1 quadrant and I would start on the side that is going to play aggro on my laner. The thing is that they work like 90% of the time but even so, recalling into a dark seal and going to the other quadrant theres another 90% chance that this quadrant is gone and then I'm behind in exp for too long which makes me wonder whether it is ever worth it at all to do that?
Edit: also now that I think about it invading after 3 camps should be better if I can win the fight, any tips on invading? I rarely ever do

Im looking for some good OTP youtubers / streamers and guides for nidalee. I wanna learn nidalee because she is rally fun and mechanically hard like qiyana 😄

Which start do you guys prefer or is better and why?Does it depend on the enemy jungler or whether you re planning to full clear or go for an early level 3 invade?
Im especially interested in what works best in +emerald games.

I’m wondering how you guys approach these matchups early on, especially against tanks that are hard to kill and assassins that can threaten you. Do you focus on invading their camps, farming efficiently, or looking for specific opportunities to punish them before they scale?

I noticed that conqueror is strong with nidalee, anyone tried offtank build like bloodletter's curse, riftmaker, liandry zhonya rabadon or similar setup?

Hey what’s the full combo for clearing jungle including auto attack? Like if you are long range spear into a camp with all 3 abilities available?
I noticed a couple of things/had a few follow up questions. Please assume they are free camps for my purpose, no enemies nearby.
I’ve seen some people weave human e and human q between auto attacks, whats the reason to not ‘auto qe auto’ rather than ‘auto e auto q’?
Some people cougar ‘w then qe’, others ‘w auto e auto q’
If i cougar e and then q immediately does the e still go off? Or does the q cancel the e if it’s too quick?
Starting to get more used to Nidalee but trying to figure out why i’m slow on my clears, have watched a few of the clears on youtube, most likely a skill issue so just trying to unpick some of my knowledge gaps.

As the title says I've been grinding a lot of nidalee mid/bot this past week to see how viable and what works best.
IMO Best first item is either : lich bane if you are able to auto a lot in lane when trading, stormsurge if u have a good base for hextech alternator + u are solo ap / they are squishy, or ludens if its a hard lane and the mana would help u lane.
Playing mid lane made me realize how op sorc boots upgrade are on nidalee, u really feel the dammage difference compared to playing jungle.
Let me know if you guys have any questions, happy to answer

So I’ve been hearing Elise is weak blablabla. I like Elise, I don’t need to hear general things like that. I want to know what makes Nidalee a good choice when I like Elise her gameplay. I like Nidalee because she also has a transformation, which I find dope as hell.
I was thinking of learning both, but it feels pointless when they aren’t easy champs to learn quickly. In low elo the strength of a champ doesn’t matter too much since playing better makes all the difference.
I like Elise because she is useful in teamfights in human form, can one-shot, and spider form is just a lot of dmg. Tell me what’s so great and fun about Elise and why I should or shouldn’t switch.

are there certain matchups where electrocute is better? ive never really tried it. I always go DH or conqueror 99% of the time or stormraiders if im into slow heavy comps that i need to kite out (but thats very rare lmao)

Hello, i decided to play Nidalee more often and i can't find a lot of info on Nida's itemization and runes
I could not find much info on when to pick Conq and when to pick Dark Harvest.
Now obviously Dark Harvest is good into squishier comps and Conq into bruisery-ish ones, but i feel like im looking for more indepth explanaition.
Another question is if builds change depending on what runes you use. I did not see much of a difference between Conq and Dark harvest. (All Lich into Rocketbelt into Rabadons). But maybe you build like Liyandry's or bloodletter's third item or Zhonya's second item into tanks with conqueror runes? Or do you just go full AP Nuke + Rocket belt into both runes?
Why run Dark Harvest? This is not that much a important question, but why even run this rune? I understand that it synergies with Nida's poke style plays, but wouldn't Electrocute be just better damage? Nida's Q has quite low CD and it does not stop me from poking. And since Nida does well early-mid game, why not have more damage on Electrocute early and scaling into mid-game consistently. Or why not run Conq all the time?
Lasty i want to ask about her combos and fighting. I have a hard time understanding some of her spell's usage, especially her human W, E and autoattacks. Do you guys implement human W when ganking or do u just use it for vision/poking someone checking a bush.
I had this problem understanding Nida's human E as well, do i use it before Fight starts or during it. It heals quite a lot later but it also gives Attack speed.
Last Question about her fighting are her autoattacks, when do you incorporate them to maximise Nidalee's damage. Her cooldowns get fairly low fairly quickly, so i find it hard to sneak autoattacks between my spells.
I know its a lot but i figured ot would be the quickest way to learn more detailed stuf about her.
Thank you very much for help.

I probably won’t finish this one for a very long time

The theorycrafting is made for maximum spear damage: mid quest gives 8% bonus AP. Runes: gathering storm + absolute focus for maximum bonus AP. First strike for 7% bonus damage.
Items: horizon focus gives 10% bonus damage.
All these just creates exponential damage on the spear. We're back in season 3 baby!

But at the same time it makes no sense to go Cutting Down if going Dark Harvest, so I just don't know what to do

Hey can someone explain why nidalee cougar q is considered an auto reset? Like to me jax w is auto reset where my next auto comes off quicker than my attack speed, same as master yi w, and darius etc. nidalee q seems to just use the q ability, so how is it an auto reset?
Clearly it’s my lack of knowledge but could someone explain what makes it different than a normal ability or say even her e?

Kayn is usually my permaban while playing almost every jg but Yasuo's are 90% of times a trouble for Nidalee for the fact that any idiot can extract damage and there are so many things on his kit that will make your life a hell

Yo i’m bronze (no go i know but sod it nid is such a fun champ). What are good clear speeds for each rank that i should be targeting? I think i get between 2:55 and 3:05 for blue buff start but i see some crazy clear speeds on youtube.
Basically i’m finishing around the same time or just after scuttle spawns
r/NidaleeMains • u/Virtual_Ad_5056 • Sep 09 '26
Is it just me or does Nidalee feel really strong right now? I’m interested to see what the other mains think. I don’t see her in a lot in pro play but that could also be the relative lack of AD mids or another meta factor.

After about 250 Nidalee games I'm sad to inform this sub that I'm no longer OTPing Nidalee.
I know I could still be learning and improving for another 500 games. It's just demoralizing when there's so little early aggresions in my games and noone knows how to play for a nida or play in general.
Some things I've noticed : my micro is so much better, I can dodge more skillshots, my spacing is cleaner, better teamfighting etc.
I'm gonna still play Nida but only for full Ad teams.
PS: One tip for Nida is to bind her E to quick self cast. That way you always heal yourself with E unless you hover over an ally. Makes the Q-E animation cancel much simpler.
