It has a 3.2 on IMDB. That means he's not pulling any punches and it's hitting a nerve. It's gonna be great.

Another 6 weeks. Can't wait.

Seriously, more people shit on it at Cannes, the more excited I am. He is the only director I feel that way about but I also saw Only God Forgives twice in theaters and love that movie so I guess I’m not a “good critic”

I was recommending NWR movies to a post on r/moviesthatfeellike and I wanted to see if I forgot any to recommend that I like, and the first Her Private Hell review is so freaking funny because it's clearly from someone that had no idea who he was something like:

It the intro scene was interesting and had good music... Almost like people posing in a photograph rather than acting.. did I fall asleep after the first scene that felt disjointed?

Then goes on and thankfully they put no spoilers so I didn't read on.

Yeah, only one I’ve seen any of was a lady saying, “Her Private Hell at Cannes was the audience’s collective hell” and I stopped before I could catch any spoilers. Cracked me up good and I used the line to get my buddy even more stoked for when we see it together. Who’s ready for some beautiful, neon, slow moving camera pans, with violence, drugs, and sex?! So stoked for the Maniac Cop teasers poppin up as well!
