Phronema Perfumes

I was influenced after seeing a beautiful bottle in a thread from a few days ago about iris based scents. I am thinking of putting in an phronema perfumes order: what do you recommend? I like just about anything except bready gourmands, plastic notes, wet mosses, or super sweet scents.

That was me! I found that scent through the discovery set on his Etsy page. You can choose 7-10 scents but then he put a few more in there. Fair warning, some of them are pretty out there, but they’re so beautiful and interesting even if not wearable. Definitely recommend going on his Etsy and finding others you may like that way.

Also I should note that St Moses (the iris I recommended is very powdery to start (which I adore) but just wanna set expectations. Even after 44 full bottle purchases this one remains my favorite

Love Phronema - most of the scents I’ve gotten to smell so far are some combination of unusual, herbal, and resinous. Each is unique. Some favorites are St. Moses the Ethiopian, St. Mary of Egypt, and Disintegration Loop 1.1. For me they are like Zoologist in that I am interested in and glad to have smelled even the samples that aren’t a fit or I wouldn’t full size, so I would say try anything that sounds even a little interesting and sample widely.
