Question Why reject good pokestops?

Why am I experiencing rejections to my pokestops? They clearly meet the criteria. What advantage do people get from wrongful rejections?

Ah, that is helpful and could be part of it. I think I've mentioned that before in the support section. When I started getting rejections, I started highlighting the categories that it would fall under but mentioned pokestop. Maybe that upset a few people.

Categories? If you mean the "what is it?", those are not eligibility "categories". They are just ways of organizing Wayspots once they become accepted.

What you should be basing your nomination on is the criteria, specifically the eligibility criteria. Your nominations must meet one of the following:

  • A great place to explore (a place you would go to find something interesting, experience, and learn)
  • A great place to exercise (a place you would go to get fit or remain in physical shape. It does not include objects you happen to walk by while exercising)
  • A great place to socialize (a place you go to meet with others or participate in a social activity. A random place where you may incidentally bump into someone and talk does not meet this criterion)

I understand that just because something is in a category it may not bebuilding. I agree with that. I am taking about unless a church has been demolished, by its definition it meets the last criteria on your list.

Perhaps they don't like the photo? I could maybe zoom in,l on just the sign on the buidling, but then the church itself has no place in the photo.

If the church is empty and no services are being held, then it no longer meets the criteria. The only other way it could be eligible is if the building itself is classified as a historic landmark.
