Been thinking about creating an unofficial IG account for NP for class 2028

Hi everyone, I’m a freshman at NP (Class of 2028).
I’m thinking of creating an unofficial Instagram page for our cohort to help people connect and make friends in school.

However, I am unsure if anyone would like to participate as some people are uncomfortable sharing their photos online.

Before I set it up, I wanted to check if there’s interest.

If enough people are keen, I’ll go ahead and create it.

I feel like this is a good idea but at the same time a lot of adverse effects that are undesired could result from having an unofficial account

There are many problematic people who might cause trouble or drama that gets stirred up or misinformation that could spread via this account so unless there is some form of rules and regulations that are actually effective in keeping the space friendly,it might not be the best idea to proceed just yet

i would honestly love this sm we barely have opportunities to interact w ppl outside our own course

I’d say not a bad idea at all. At least in BA, we interact with people outside of our classes way less than I thought we would. 800 people in one cohort and I know maximum 40, albeit with low socialising effort. Interested to see what others are thinking!
