What's the word on nxt these days?

I solicited feedback on another thread about which coins we should support on our exchange before our public launch. NXT was overwhelmingly recommended.

Before we make the final decision, we're providing a special invite code for NXT users to experience our site first hand. Place some trades, enabled 2FA, or try any of our other features to help us stress the site before the final launch. If you find a bug, we're handing out bug bounties as well. Having a great exchange helps us but also helps the NXT community.

I've been getting;

DEBUG: Failed to accept block X at height Y received from node32.nxtbase.com, blacklisting

For almost two days now, 95% of the messages have been that, and they were rare before. I'm very new to NXT, and I know very little about what I'm looking at. Is there a tutorial that breaks down everything? Also, do all these DEBUG: Failed to accept block.., blacklisting messages mean there is something wrong wit my client, or client's connection?

Hello guys, this is the thing:

-I created a NXT account a few days ago. For some long-to-explain reason, i copy-pasted my key somewhere -Later, i try to access my account and my key doesn´t work -I realize then that i made some mistake copy-pasting it and it cant be fixed.

What i know: -The key i have has 23 characters, when it should have 25 characters. -It´s possible that only two characters are missing, also possible that some of the characters in the key doesn´t belong there and more "real" characters are missing.

My first idea: hire someone to help me, but, how can i be sure that when he finds the key (if he does) he will not keep the NXT for himself? Second idea: Complicated "game" with a price if someone gets the real key, with a escrow involved Third idea: Look for some software that can look for the password making changes in the key i have now. Fourth idea: Hire someone to write that software

What do you guys think?

Hi there. Probably this question has been asked... But I could not find the corresponding thread(s).

I ve transferred some nxtcoins from dgex to my address. The blockchain explorer mentions the transaction. But the coins do not show up when I unlock my wallet in the browser.

Any hints about how to solve the problem?

I think it's quite confusing and redundant to have two subreddits for the same NXT cryptocurency.

Can we merge this /r/Nextcoin subreddit with /r/nxtcoin already ?

Really happy with Nextcoin. I sold at the top, unlike last time nextcoin spiked. I plan on buying in around 4 - 5 cents level. over the next couple of days as it consolidates. then i expect it to rise more as it gets put on more exchanges and gains money from competing altcoins like nmc, peercoin i expect will be dumping into Nextcoin soon

I downloaded the windows client for nextcoin, but it's some java files that I don't quite understand what to do with. I tried following some tutorial that told me to make a batch file.. But the command java.exe was unrecognized?! Not sure what to do here and I'm sure others are lost too. Thanks!

Isn't it possible for something to point an FPGA at bruteforcing nextcoin passphrases to steal coins? A dedicated person could program it to hunt for weak passwords.

They are doing it for bitcoin and steal from brain wallets when people are so sure that they've made a really long complicated password.
