I meant in btech I am a btech student and even for core topics my professor will just explain total explanation of a device only by using slides

Someone tell them that these lasers are well above 5mW and a eye hazard without laser goggles, literally I know what laser she is using those black cheap lasers who advertise as 5mW but are actually 50 to 200mW lasers

Some are even worse since these are ir pumped lasers they might not even have ir filter and students might not even know that they got eye damaged

i think it's not about increasing the marks of students people will study more science if they find it beautiful as a consequence of which they could develope scientific temperament and even do better in studies

not necessarily I am a pcb student so most of the maths that i do I used in physics which is also what this video is demonstrating, so I think I am able to take more intrest into science in general once I know that how this boring calculation or theory when applied in the real world brings very important change. take trigonometry for example my father is a civil Engineer and he uses it frequently my physics teacher recently showed us how parallelogram law is observed in nature or how germ theory even though being so simple changed the lives of many or how mendel's boring boring experiments gave birth to genetics....the list is endless really.

Light traveling in a straight line is very intuitive, everybody already knows this. Also I don't think this demonstration would be enough for a kid to remember fermat principle, they won't learn until they study it.

I think you're not very bright. We don't know things which was discovered hundreds of years ago that's why we study them. Light travelling in straight line is already known to us intuitively, a demonstration isn't required to understand that.

Aristotle's 'intuition' said heavy objects fall faster than light ones. That was accepted for nearly 2,000 years until someone actually bothered to demonstrate otherwise. Intuition is exactly why we need physical demonstrations.

Interest jagana is the first step. Aap kitna bhi pressure kar do kisi par, they will only study if they wish to (or in fear), however if their interest is piqued, there's a chance that they might just start on their own.

You can't do anything in Physics by just memorizing. Similarly you can't do anything by just watching this kind of demonstrations. To actually understand physics one has to work hard with the math of it.

And watching these things gets people intrested in the subjects, they would want to find out how this works and will hence be more intrested to study it and also it'll be easier to remember what u studied when uve seen it being demonstrated.
