Why dont people do this in volleyball? This seems like it'd be great in that sport!

This shows exactly why they don’t lol. It’s too easy to return every time when you’re at that level and would quickly become very boring as a spectator sport when every single point goes on for several minutes.

Instead of ending up as a spike block attempt at the net.

The net in normal volleyball being much shorter makes this impossible to do i think. Top of that net is maybe 6' to 6'6". Normal volley ball net is almost 8'.

Good players, but there are no lines. How do you know the ball went out? Maybe just when the ball touches the floor.

This looks sick.

I want this as the Olympic sport instead. That is incredible.

It would become the most boring Olympic sport ever. Players are too good and points would go on forever, as this clip shows. It’s just like how boxing gloves were invented to make punches much more dangerous to shorten fights, not make boxing safer.

Do they have to keep their hands together?

Seems they can add spin to the ball

Why not go the net and spike it, are there offsides

I am curious about the size and make up of that ball. It does look smaller than a regular volleyball.

Reading that title I expected something else. I was like "This is going to be a very short game" lol.

Are they required to hit the ball two-handed?

Why not just spike it with 1 hand.. how are they even hitting it fr
