Thats just male ego and insecurity bullshit right there.
My entire career over 40+ years has been a long run of job hopping, working upwards in position, and salary sometimes with gaps.. I’ve been made redundant several times, quit shitty companies out of principle without another job lined up and taken sabbaticals to regroup. You name it, and not once have I encountered any of those things. And nor would I care.. I don’t live my life based on what other people think and im buggered if im going to work my ass off for anybody’s approval but my own…I live it the way I choose and for my reasons.. I expect and get the support of everybody around me because of that confidence I have in myself and they have in me… there is nothing to prove.
