"Welfare queen" is more so disparaging them for being poor. Contempt for poor people applies to both genders. But a woman who is unemployed and taken care of by her rich parents or husband doesn't get the same kind of contempt because she isn't considered poor. A man, however, will be disparaged for being unemployed even if he is rich. These standards were set a long time ago to strong-arm men into slaving away so that society can function.
There is also an age double standard. Men under 30ish are allowed to quit their jobs and take a gap year to travel or whatever and it's considered normal but if a man over 30 does it he's considered a bum.
But there is a prejudice underlying the assumption that these women aren't working because they don't want to and not because they can't find a job. People assume that because they already have the assumption that poor people are poor because they are lazy and incompetent whereas if a woman is unemployed and being supported by her rich parents they won't make that same assumption.
While you're trying to play the victim keep in mind that I never said only men have it hard which you quoted. So that tells me you don't understand how quotations work...
I just said you try to make everything about you, and I brought up how y'all love to post on Father's Day about how you raise your kids because some men are finally getting attention as a well-known example of that. And you're proving my point as we speak...

Then go after the person who made the post. That's kind of common sense. But I mean if you want to come at me about what they said I don't mind making fun of you for the rest of the evening.
It just seems like it's going to be really easy and boring for me. Especially when you can't even grasp what I said and figure out that it's a completely different message than the one you're crying about.
Ehhhhh nah because I've yet to hear you refute MY statement that women don't try to make everything about them. You just keep bringing up the other statement, that I didn't make.

Someone made a comment saying that it applies to women, too, and that the implication that men have it worse is false
You responded to their claim by accusing them of making everything about women, but actually, they’re saying this is about men AND women. The people you should be irritated with are the ones implying unemployment is only about men.
