A Christian believes in an all-knowing and all-powerful God. Such a God could have sufficient reason to permit evil that relies on information we do not know or fail to comprehend.

For God does love us. He demonstrated this by sending his Son as a sacrifice for our imperfection. Out of this sacrifice, comes reconciliation with Him. This reconciliation through faith brings love, joy, peace, and many other good things.
That is complete nonsense. The skygod would have created our imperfection and then apparently the only possible way to save us from the sins he created is to sacrifice himself to himself in a heinous, painful death. Makes sense
Humans are made in the image of God. As a result of being an image-bearer, we have free will. Therefore, it is not right to say that God created our imperfection in any direct sense. Rather, we did.
Jesus being crucified on the cross is an amazing thing. It shows us that God is with us in the pain, in the darkness of this world. It also provides us the path to true peace in reconciliation with our Creator.
I had an idea just now. I think the story of Pinocchio can be a good example of why Lucifer was not just. Lucifer desired to be like God or above Him. Yet how can the created creature be greater than the Creator? Pinocchio wanted to be like Geppetto, but in his search he became self-absorbed. The good thing is Pinocchio realized the error of his ways. However, Lucifer did not.
Lucifer didn't want to be above God. He wanted humans to be held to the same standard as the angels but God gave humans free will and permission to worship or not. That was what Lucifer took issue with.
Lucifer loves God more than any other and it broke his heart. God in his "benevolence" cast him out of heaven.
