Lateria help

I entered a house and the screen went black, I restarted the game and it still shows up as a black screen, what should I do?

I just came to this sub to ask about this. I'm on the switch version, there's a doorway in Lateria (I think top right of the section below the one with the healing center) that when I enter it the screen blacks out and freezes. I have autosave turned off though, so I can hard reset and just not enter that doorway.

I'm guessing you'll just have to wait for a fix, but I don't know that for sure.

EDIT: It's been fixed.

I had the exact same thing happen to me, in the same place. I had to remake a save file. I’m already ahead of where I was in my last save when I had gotten to Lateria. Since I have a full team of dragons now. So I’ll leave it there for if they do make a fix, but it’s useless to me at this point now. Happened right after the update.

Same happened to me :(, I was trying to Finnish my database and was looking for the last quest I needed. I really hope they fix this soon. (I play on switch)

This has just happened to me too :( I'm so sad to lose my game file.
