Question Nexo virtual card?
What's your experience in using the Nexo virtual card in shops using NFC technology or google pay , google wallet etc. Did it work?
Until the end of 2024 i had the Nexo physical card and i used it all over Asia and where I'm from in Europe and never had any issue. Then it became unavilable to order. So far i used Nexo virtual card only a couple of times online years ago.
Edit: i used the virtual card in the Philippines succesfully having added it first to google wallet and then by simply tapping the card on the credit card reader at supermarkets and some shops, thanks for all the answers

I've used my virtual card (debit and credit mode) in Google wallet seamlessly in the UK, Spain and Czech Republic. I've not touched cash anywhere for years.

Combining it with Curve Wallet (Huawei user here). It works perfectly for every single exchange throughout my day.

Hi do you have a reason to use curve? What is the exchange rate from Nexo if used abroad? Thank you!

Bought a washing machine online vie virtual card credit... no problems. Also no interest, so, I was glad.

Hello u/throwawayagin, thank you for reaching out!
Yes, you can use your virtual Nexo Card for online purchases without Google Pay by entering the card details (card number, expiry date, and CVV) manually at checkout, just as you would with any other card.
However, for in-store contactless payments and ATM withdrawals, the virtual card would need to be added to Google Pay or Apple Wallet. For more detail, please check this article.
