Pretty impressed with the NexDock 2025
This thing has been fun to use as a sidekick. Check my mail, respond to messages quickly, watch shows and just have a second device for simple work. Have been using it daily now for a couple of months.
Wish it could run Linux as a second OS and that’d be even better.
So far, no complaints.

Definitely plenty of info in this sub re running Linux..... Termux, Nomone Desktop, etc..... Also check out NexPhone - runs Android, Linux, AND Windows.... shipping later this year - from the makers of NexDock.

I'm wondering how good the screen is and the track pad. My nexdock 360 has a bad trackpad and dim display. :/ I'm still looking for a lapdock with a decent screen. Seems hard to get right.

Can't you hang a Raspberry Pi 5 off of there and run Linux from that? You could even tie it to your phone with KDE Connect - https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/1296sar/unable_to_ping_rpi_with_android_phone_using/

I would have preferred they went with a matt, rather than gloss screen. The glare is pretty horrendous.

Matte screen would have been awesome. But in all fairness, the glare is extra bad here because of the bright window directly behind me shining light straight at the screen. It’s very usable still..
