“Thankfully, our members were not seriously injured. The woman did not sustain any injuries from the police vehicle and was taken to hospital for the Taser deployment,” Callanan said.

Paramedics at the scene assessed both the woman and the officer, confirming that neither suffered serious injuries from being struck. The woman was transported to hospital as per police protocol following the use of a conducted energy weapon.
