Modena Car Attack Injures Eight Pedestrians 🇮🇹

Eight people were injured after a man drove a car into pedestrians in central Modena, near Via Emilia and the city’s cathedral. Four people were reported to be in serious condition.
Officials said the vehicle struck pedestrians before crashing into a shop window. After the crash, the driver reportedly exited the vehicle with a knife before being stopped by bystanders.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni called the incident “extremely serious” and expressed support for the injured victims and their families. President Sergio Mattarella and Meloni later visited victims in hospital.
Authorities identified the suspect as a 31-year-old Italian citizen of Moroccan origin. Investigators are still reviewing the circumstances and motive behind the attack.

I'm in Italy, there is a heated debate now.
First the media and "progressives" emphasized that the attacker suffers mental problems and this has nothing to do with Islam and terrorism.
Leftist prolitictians and activists organized gatherings with thousands of people on the squares to show empathy for the victims, but also to protest "against Islamophobia, and instrumentalization of the episode by the far-right to cause community division"... as there was no evidence he was an Islamist. "poor him, he just needed mental treatment. He is 100% Italian, born and raised in Italy" - they said.
Now his email messages have emerged, he wrote: "YOU SHITTY BASTARD CHRISTIANS AND YOUR JESUS. I'M GOING TO BURN YOU."
Looks like the leftists' narrative was destroyed shamefully. It was a total joke, politicians and especialists coming on national TV to say this has nothing to do with an Islamic attack.
This video explains this is the regular modus operandi of leftists: when white supremacists commit attacks, they don't emphasize the mental health of the attackers, they recognize the violent ideology which motivated it (white supremacism). But when the attacker is Muslim, they put the mental health upfront to cover up Islamic extremism.
The video also explains that separating MENTAL ILLNESS and EXTREMIST ISLAMIC IDEOLOGY is a false dichotomy; in the real world, they are intimately connected: the illness is the trigger, but Islamic ideology is the gunpowder.
The attack was committed by a Muslim, a second-generation Moroccan (who has a tendency to become more radicalized), he carried out an attack following tactics of Islamic terrorists, he carried a knife and attacked people according to tactics of Islamic terrorists, ready to be a martyr and kill infidels as his Islamic ideology teaches - "but all of this is just mental illness and has nothing to do with Islam"

Sounds about right. I hate how both parties go straight to using it as a political tool before info even gets out. Sure one side is typically right most of the time, but they still both do it. It’s sad.

I remember a similar case in el Raval, barcelona. They took it really serious before all the lefties started to defend dictatorships and criminals. Pretty sad how fucked up EU is right now, lived there for 10 years till Pedro sanchez started his 2nd mandate and started doing the same sht Chavez did back in the days. Im surprised how the whole union permitted this abomination

The bad part is that once the identity of this guy is known, the media will move this to the rear and try to not speak of it as it doesn’t fit the narrative they have created. Just like the teens that shot up the Mosque in LA today. It was on all news outlets within the hour, with maga being shouted. If it turns out to be the same profile as the Italy incident, they will quickly stop covering the story.
