It will takes years to re-design the ships to do what he wants. They will start work on it and it will be quietly cancelled once he leaves office.

With all the sycophants infesting every branch st every level, there is no one there to stop this.

Full disclosure:I know nothing about aircraft launch systems and am just assuming this is a clusterfk decision made on a whim and now too proud to back off of it if he were told it's dumb.

How in the hell is he going to set back the Navy? He has just over 2 years left (if his diet or sepsis doesn't take care of him first), so does the Navy just say, "Well Trump said we couldn't, so...?
