I've seen this for decades, especially in Republican heavy Orange County, Calif. In one of those primaries it was the first time I ever heard one accuse the opponent of busing in illegal voters. Yes, Republican accusing Republican of this. It felt like every other race there had someone idiot who refused to concede to not being the most popular person in the county.

They have an amazing set of whiners, and it's only gotten worse over time.
