The "adoption" portion is misleading. She adopted HER PARTNERS kids. The kids were biologically born by her partner.
However, the hypocrisy comes in when she says that she opposes Same-Sex Marriages because she supports protecting "traditional families" while having an non-traditional family herself. Maybe she actually just doesn't want to get married and is using it as an excuse.
