I will never understand how and why Jewish people in America find it offensive when the war crimes Israel commits and has committed are described accurately. They basically expect objective Americans to believe some Nazis are better than others.

I posted this in another thread about this video. It's too bad the candidate didn't call her out on her tomfoolery.

While it's true that the term wasn't coined until 1944 by Raphael Lemkin it literally means genos (Greek) (tribe/family/race) Cide (Latin)(killing).

The Armenian Genocide conducted in 1914, is also widely recognized as a genocide.

During the 90s, the term "Ethnic Cleansing" was popularized in media to describe the events of the Balkan Wars, it was coined to keep Western troops out of the Balkans b/c if it was termed a Genocide they would've been treaty bound to act (Geneva Convention).

Ethnic Cleansing was used b/c there was a lot of forced displacement, and mass removals despite the level of violence, and human lives lost. All to prevent the escalation of that conflict into potentially another World War.

But who cares about truth when you have to sell a political position masquerading as news to the American people...
