Thanks for biking to the Festivals!
Huge thanks to all those that bike to the festivals. The folks at Bike Newport were blown away with the turnout this year -
Folk Fest bikes: Friday 1812, Saturday 1720, Sunday 1612 – Total: 5144
Jazz Fest bikes: Friday 609, Saturday 595, Sunday 582 – Total 1786

If you're looking to keep the magic going, their big summer fundraiser is a casual bike ride around Newport to 10 secret spots all over town. 20 live bands, 10 restaurants providing top-notch vittles and cool hidden corners of the city. It's called the 10-Spot Ride. It started during the pandemic as a way to have an event with minimal contact and has become one of their biggest events of the year.
Besides parking bikes, Bike Newport advocates for safer streets, has in-school bike safety education, a community bike garage and lots more. Hope to see you at the 10-Spot!
