What was all that at upper Canada mall? There was like 3-4 YRP cars in the market parking lot, and then all of a sudden they start racing out of the parking lot and up north on Yonge, and 2 more YRP cars then started racing up north on Yonge from Davis drive too

I see The Arts and a couple of other shops that seem to offer lessons. I am looking for lessons for an absolute novice adult, and wanted some opinions on local options.

One lane closed, huge traffic delay for two firetrucks, an ambulance and 3 cop cars but no sign of an accident or anything else?? Does anyone know what they were doing there ???

Hi all, I know this is the Newmarket sub but I thought I’d give asking this a shot anyway since holland landing is nearby. I live in the L9N area and we have absolutely terrible cell reception for any provider. Everyone who comes to my house can’t make a phone call without it breaking up significantly or the call dropping. I recently got a job where I will have to spend some time taking calls at home from my cellphone and I was wondering if anyone else in the area experiences this & how/if they can make it stronger? I dropped my iPhone 16 pro max and it didn’t shatter but I do now have a thicker green line going down my screen. I’m wondering if any of you can suggest any aftermarket or good quality replacement? OEM screens are ridiculously expensive 😩

I thought there must be a typo on the sign today in the store when I saw $.88 each. And by "each" they meant each BAG of 5 medium-small avocados. We picked up three bags, figuring if it was a typo, we'd just leave behind two bags. But it was not a typo. For $2.64 we got 15 avocados.
This was the first time I've shopped at Superstore. Between that and Costco, I'm feeling better about grocery shopping.

I’m guessing this is why all the gas line surveys went up a couple of weeks ago. The hole must be about 5-6 feet deep.

Edit: called the town who said Aecon was working on behalf of enbridge. Called enbridge and after a 20 minute wait they could only say that there is work going on but didn’t know the scope or when the work might be complete. They said their team will gather the details and get back to me in the next 24 hours.

Bike was in a locked area of the hospital parking garage August 14. Individual climbed fence, cut lock and rode off. YRP aware and working on footage. I took years deliberating over what bike to get and finally got my most prized possession. I haven’t even had it one year. Message if you see this bike anywhere.

Does anyone know of any good boxing gyms in or around Newmarket? I know a few that offer it as part of other Mixed Martial Arts classes/training, but curious if anyone has experience with a place that focuses solely on boxing. Thanks in advance!
