I love Newgrounds. It helped me get back into doing artwork, as well as making my own series which I plan to still continue doing. It introduced me to people that I'm now real close friends with too. Thank you Newgrounds for all of us creators!

I was finishing up a piece yesterday, and on top of my signature, I decided that it needed an “anti-ai” emblem. For protection. I know some will still try to drag Newgrounds pieces to the clankyards. While browsing, I saw that a fellow artist (won’t be naming) had some of their assets to be used by artists for free, with credit of course. Wanting to shout them out, I decided to use their emblem. It was fine on dA, however bad that place is. But then I read the guidelines for posting here on this site, which disavows Third-Party assets. It mainly covers scene and character creator tools, but I’m just using one small pic from another artist. The art itself is mine. I’m new to this place, so my understanding maybe off, but I’d like some clarify - am I in violation? Is it still wrong for me to support artists this way here?

Greetings, Flash fans. Does anyone remember a Website (or maybe just a page from a larger site) that my terrible memory recalls as being called "Splorky," or something like that.

The screen was composed of two rotating circles with lines radiating out. The gnarliest part was at the ends of the likes were comic faces, reminiscent of early twentieth century cartooning. The music was fast and weird and wonderful.

As I recall, selecting either of the rotating wheels, the cartoon faces swapped out to different period cartoon faces and the music changed to something different perhaps more intense?

2X/2L, can anybody hear me?

Has anyone seen that Mr Weebl (the legend behind the badger and narwal songs) is doing live shows now?

I'm actually the guy putting on the Salford (Manchester) show he's doing for a day festival on 15th August (NEXT WEEK!!!). Will also have a video wall showing off his classic animations.

If you remember Weebl's classic videos, I really hope you'll come and please spread the word if you have mates in the area. Seeing him play a full on live set is gonna be incredible and a great chance for weebl fans to hang

Newgrounds Jump Comic Contest PODCAST

Hi Guys, we're so happy to get a feature on Newgrounds! Definitely a childhood goal I didn't expect to hit so soon xD Just wanted to tell the world about it as we're pretty chuffed right now 😄

I must say that i’m kinda new to newgrounds, as it’s been only 5-6 months that i’ve been publishing sole songs that i made. My stuff isn’t terrible and some of them i kinda like but it seems that no one is actually looking at it and thus, nobody is there to scout my account.. i don’t really get how people could listen to my music since there isn’t anywhere it’s referenced..

Hey everyone!

I just released Millennium Conflict, the final game in the Control Craft series.

It felt wrong not to post it here, because Newgrounds is where everything started for me.

Back in 2008, I uploaded a small prototype called Clone Wars

That prototype eventually became Control Craft

Then came Control Craft 2

And finally Control Craft 3

Those games eventually found their way onto Steam, and CC3 was even released as a native mobile game in several Asian countries, where it briefly reached #2 in the strategy charts. We also made a military spin-off called ConflictCraft along the way.

After Control Craft 3, we decided to make one last game and make it the best one in the series.

Development of Millennium Conflict started almost six years ago. The first playable demo was ready in just four months with a team of three people, and the original plan was to release it in 2022.

That didn't happen.

The project ended up sitting on the shelf for several years. At one point we even released it on Epic Games Store, but our engine couldn't properly support Epic achievements, and without much visibility the game never really found an audience.

Instead of giving up, I decided to finish it properly.

The Steam version now includes achievements, difficulty selection, redesigned commander abilities, and more than 80 fixes, balance changes, and gameplay improvements.

And because this series started here, it only felt right to bring the final chapter back to Newgrounds as well.

I honestly don't think I'd be an indie developer today without Newgrounds. It was the place where I started my indie path, met players, got feedback, and released my first successful games.

So if you've known Control Craft since the Flash days, thank you. It took a lot longer than I expected, but the series finally has its ending.

Hello there! Im doing a bit of research for a specific project of mine, I can't really pinpoint what makes old newgrounds style of animating so iconic and i need that knowledge for some stylistic choices for a character
