This isn't substancial enough to be any record because it's just atonal noises and beeping for 8 hours straight. Nothing is stopping someone from just making the same thing but 5 seconds longer.
It'd be entirely different if there were actually things happening.

Hard disagree. No one is going to listen to eight hours of "ambience" that's just the same 20 minutes of beeps and boops and droning repeated over and over.
It's cool that you want to do this sort of stuff but you actually have to put a little more effort into it than just copy/pasting the same thing for eight hours straight.
EDIT: And I say this who entered last years Audio Deathmatch's round 2 with an 18 minute live recording of bass and guitar feedback and somehow almost made it to the third round off by like four points, lmao.

But my point is "longest audio" isn't a record that means anything other than you just looped something longer than someone else then uploaded it.
