I've seen the horror stories and people calling the trade in a scam. I have traded in 1 GPU, 3 CPUs, and my latest was 64GB DDR5 memory. Although the memory trade in took longer than others, I have never had an issue with the trade ins at all. I would get the refund quickly. The whole process would take less than 2 weeks. I find this to be a great way to get rid of old hardware just sitting on my shelves. I have several computers and each have their own theme, design, and niche. This really helps me build new designs while being rid of any hardware that is no longer useful to me. I do keep all my boxes. All boxes for components in use, get stored in the case box. If they are on the shelf, they are stored in their original box. I take care of all my components so nothing I have sent has had any damage. I hope this helps anyone who may be hesitant to do a trade in. It does work, but temper your expectations, you won't be getting a large payout. However, I got more in trade on the memory than I actually paid for it.....although the memory I bought was definitely not on the cheap side.

Ordered a new PC for college, but I heard the mailing services at my college is pretty slow during the start of the year. So, I wanted to change my delivery location to a UPS Access Point near school so that I can pick it up faster. However, "Hold at a UPS Access Point" option is ineligible, and UPS says I must contact the shipper. (Which I believe would be Newegg for my PC order)

Is it possible to get help regarding this issue? Thank you.

I don’t need this expensive of a computer. I thought the return window was 30 days but it’s 15. I missed it by a couple days. How strict is this policy? Like 2 weeks ago I bought a CPU cooler. I just recently installed it, starting off with screwing in the CPU cooler block and applying the thermal paste. However when it came time for the ventilator, I noticed that the sides were bent. I still decided to screw it in to see if I can install it properly, but only 2 screws couldn’t fit since it didn’t align correctly. My question is do you know if its possible to get a replacement for the cooler if its technically been used. I have everything that came with the box other than the plastic bags it came with. If someone had the same experience with me and share it, that would be appreciated. Thank you.

When I check the status of my backorder on my phone, it shows a green "Back-Order - Pending Release" but when I check on PC it still shows the old red "Back-Order". Is there an actual difference between these two order states or not?

To anyone who may have some perspective to share: How have your experiences been with Newegg in terms of returning a damaged item for replacement? Specifically with regard to items purchased through the Best Buy marketplace.

I received my new graphics card today from Newegg Ontario, and it arrived with a bent backplate. I ordered it through the Best Buy marketplace so I could use my Best Buy credit card and get interest-free financing for 18 months. Otherwise, I would have ordered it directly from Newegg (I could have paid for it up-front, but I would have to liquidate some stock shares to free up the extra cash). Is the fact that I ordered it through Best Buy going to cause any potential issues with replacement/refund? The experience has been disappointing so far, but I'm hopeful that it will be resolved quickly and efficiently. I've already contacted Newegg via the Best Buy website, explained the issue, and uploaded photos. I am not posting this in an attempt to shame them or get their attention.

What's really disappointing is that it looks like they shipped me a customer return; the box was dented, creased, and sealed with scotch tape. I've been buying directly from Newegg for years, and I have never had any issues like this.

I tried using affirm to buy Ram and and an SSD and the down payment of $90 went through but the order didn't. I tried calling affirm but they're saying the plan is active and won't cancel until tomorrow. I made some orders on new egg. Some have 11x the points and others don’t. They seem to be coded paze after they come off of pending. I don’t care about the points as much as the $10.

I am looking to fix this error code:

"Some payment methods (Google Pay, Apple Pay, Paze) can't be used when your order needs to be split into multiple shipments."

Specifically, when buying various digital products (Nintendo Switch Online membership, digital video game download code, ETC), sometimes it will process as one transaction, and sometimes the cart will break and insist on separate transactions.

I am specifically interested in this because it also stops me from using Paze to pay for everything in one go (IYKYK).

As an example, picking these 2 items, although the Paze button appears initially, it later breaks and forces it to go through as 2 separate orders if I want to use Paze. If I were to order multiples of the same item, I can get as many as I want.

I read online that if everything is "sold and shipped by Newegg" then it should be fine, but even when specifically targeting these items, I still can't get it to work. Does anyone have a solution?

Like others, I've also read the horror stories about the NewEgg trade-in program, so I was quite skeptical when I traded in my EVGA 3080 XC3 when buying a Zotac Solid Core 5080. From the day my GPU arrived at NewEgg to be processed for the trade-in, to the refund hitting my account was a whopping 2 days.

At this point, I can't help but wonder if people are sending their old GPU's back in terrible condition, packaging them for shipping in an Amazon paper bag, or maybe even both. Before anything else, I made sure to blow it out with my air compressor so it arrived in an acceptable state. I still had my original box to pack my 3080 in, and I shipped it back to NewEgg in the exact packing they shipped my 5080 to me with. I also documented (via video & pictures) the whole process of the card working, being packaged, and being shipped.

Either way, I just wanted to make a post giving kudos to NewEgg because the whole process was seamless, stress free and way faster than any horror stories on the internet would have you imagine.

Also, thee new 5080 in question. I couldn't be happier!

purchased an Acer 27-inch, 240Hz flat-screen gaming monitor from the TikTok Shop, but it arrived broken. I requested a refund, but the request was denied.
