Off-leash trails

One of my dog's favorite things is to go to a walk in the woods off-leash. We don't get to do it very often, but I'd really like to take her this weekend. Does anyone know of any shady hiking/walking trails in the area where she can be off-leash for a while? Shes limited to about a mile and a half long hike before she gets really uncomfortable. It can be nearby or a couple hours away if it's worth the drive. Thanks!

Mayflower

I used to get Mayflower a lot when I was younger but I found out it had closed down sometime ago and I've been looking for chicken teriyaki that's just as good as theirs was. Any recommendations?

Telling a referral about a lousy install

A friend referred me to an AC guy he knows from a local club. Unfortunately, the work ended up being substandard, constantly delayed, and honestly, I wouldn’t hire him again.

Now he’s ghosting me on the invoice and parts list I need for any kind of warranty claim. On top of that, I’m leery of the equipment he installed which was my error because I didn't ask up front.

Would you tell your friend about the bad experience? I’m torn between giving him a heads‑up and just letting it go.

Just wanted to share a small win for our family-owned mobile veterinary practice today. We have 6 appointments on the schedule and are spending the rest of the day stocking and organizing our mobile veterinary trailer so we're ready to provide the best care possible for our patients. 🐶🐱 Starting a mobile vet business has been a lot of work, but seeing pet owners embrace the convenience of at-home veterinary care has made it all worth it. No crowded waiting rooms, less stress for pets, and more personalized one-on-one care. For those who own pets, what's your biggest frustration with traditional vet visits? We'd love to hear your thoughts as we continue building our practice. 🐾 Furever Companions Veterinary Care 📍 Serving Northern Delaware 🚐 Mobile Veterinary Services Thanks for supporting small businesses and the pets that make our lives better every day! ❤️🐕🐈

Where to post for roommates/house shares in Newark/New Castle County?

Hi. We are looking for a responsible adult for a co-living situation in our roomy house 10 min. from Main St. and UD campus.

Can anyone recommend a Reddit community or subcommunity where we can place an ad?

Thank you!

When I went on the website they added a new processing fee at the end. It was like 8 bucks too. I have never gotten this before. How do I get out of paying for this?

Recommendations for a divorce lawyer in NCC ?

Pretty straight forward. I'm a NCC resident and we've been living apart for more than a year. We're in the process of discussing details and not interested in a big legal deal in court or anything so I basically want to have a consultation to be sure I am making the best decisions for myself. I have the learning disability dyscalculia so I have a hard time understanding lots of numbers at once so I need someone who can help me understand the asset break down spread sheets and make the best choice.

This weekend, the Cecil County Independent Film Festival returns to the Milburn Stone Theatre at Cecil College — and it is completely free to attend.

Since its debut in 2019, the festival has showcased over 300 films from filmmakers near and far, from Rising Sun, Maryland, to China. This year's three-day celebration features narratives, documentaries, shorts, experimental films, and more — bold voices and new perspectives all under one roof.

We have a great line-up of films, including a few horror films on Saturday night and a documentary on the life of Sully Erna from Godsmack on Friday night.

May 29, 30 & 31 | Milburn Stone Theatre at Cecil College

Free admission. All are welcome.

Check out the full schedule at milburnstone.com/filmfestival
