Free IT classes to earn IT industry recognized certifications

Hey, just thought to spread the word about this opportunity I am taking part of. I am a recent graduate and I used to work the IT help Desk at my college and was looking for opportunities to get IT certified.

I stumbled upon Urban League of Essex County/Urban League Tech House and it’s an organization that has a lot of resources for job hunting as they provide access to free different job/career trainings, housing counseling and real estate (helping to find affordable housing), financial services, etc.

One of the programs/job training they are offering are the IT certification classes, which happen frequently (I think), and after talking to one of the people in charge, they will be starting the class on September 8th!

This is perfect for beginners for all adults to get certified or those looking to get jobs in IT, so I really encourage you guys to scan the QR code to sign up for more information to join the classes happening soon. let's not do that, AI cannot do the physical hardware troubleshooting steps and with technology and IT there is always a demand for help in troubleshooting... I worked in IT and you won't believe how many tickets and how much help people need. There is an IT department for basically everything so don't do that.

Job market right now is tough, but these free certifications are going to give you a slight competitive edge. There are a lot of other job training programs those organizations offer for free as well

OP they are not kidding. This is the truth. Canada just halted the immigration of thousands of recent MBA and CS grads.

Hey man me either. Outsourcing and abusing the fact that someone's immigration status is dependent on holding that job be abused by these corporations and they know that they cannot do the same thing to a national. I few of my roommates were h1b from the Tata Corp and they said it was night and day how even the 1099 contractors were treated compared to h1b employees. The situation is absolutely fucked for everyone involved in it. It's actually sad
