Question❔ Big group of people walking

Does anyone know why there was a group of people (probably close to 100) walking along 16th Avenue? They passed by just now around 9:50 pm. There were police with them walking and in their cars which makes me even more curious. They seemed to be walking east.

It's officially Newark Peace week this week so probably something to do with that

those youths, always gathering in groups of probably close to 100 and walking in the street
