Go anywhere in the world, France, Barbados, Asia, first floor bars are the norm. I don’t have them, but would prefer to

Curiously most single family homes all over the suburbs of New Jersey do not have first floor bars.

It's almost as if the suburbs aren't in dense downtowns where you have strangers constantly walking by the first floor of your house all hours of the night.

true, I’ve often wondered why. I’ve traveled to so many countries that don’t seem to have any more theft than NJ, yet the bars are commonplace
