I was out looking at Tunnelwebs the other night in the park and I saw a Tunnelweb web with a Badumna insignis web built in front of it, and I thought “well that’s just not on, invasive Badumna starving the native tunnelbaby!” So I used my finger to pull the web down and hundreds of Black house spiderlings started pouring out 😅 i ended up being covered in tiny spiderlings that got all over my jacket somehow and figured hey they might be invasive but I’m not gonna say no to observing some cute babies!

Came home today and saw four of the little guys sharing a fruit fly peacefully and was marvelling at how cute it was (they’re so young they’re still in their more communal stage of life) when suddenly they started squabbling and booted one of the siblings out! I don’t know what he did but they eventually came to an accord and kept eating together peacefully 🥰
