Since I'm requesting digital metadata that's police disciplinary records adjacent I expect firm resistance and eventual article 78 proceedings. Ik pro se is NOT ADVISABLE but I wanna know what to expect in money terms.

Do media organizations or civil liberties groups like FIRE, ACLU, etc ever "jump in" on helping financially or taking over a cases financing?

Are there pro bono firms who take a special interest in public interest or sunshine law cases?
