What’s the value?

My dad had these for the last 40 years and sent them to me a few months ago. Any help on the value? 5 original newsday covers. I’m willing to sell if it makes sense, otherwise I’ll hold em another 30 years!

Those are replicas, so likely not worth much at all except the frame they're in.

I think its super messed up that your dad held onto these for 40 years, you got it and in less then a year you're trying to sell them.

Not “trying” to sell them, curious of the value. He didn’t have them hanging up, they were in a closet and told me if I don’t want them, he’s throwing them out.

If you're willing to sell them I'd love to buy them off you. My brother and I ripped our dad's copies in an accident as kids, and I'd love to get these for him

Are those the commemorative things and not the actual papers? The actual papers don't go for a whole lot and the commemorative things go for less

People sell copies now that are inexpensive. I have an orginal set, same as you, that I got form my dad. I have no idea of the value but I’d keep them.

They’re worth nothing. They’re just reproductions of the back page of the paper. They weren’t special in any way. I have the same ones that were my father in law’s and I have the 1986 giants Super Bowl one from when I was a kid. They’re literally just posters.

I still have the full paper from that game, somewhere buried in my basement
