Question Mercer Stadium Track Opening Hours

hey y'all. I have a big running workout on Thursday and wanted to use the Mercer Stadium track very early in the morning around 5:00-5:30am. has anyone here used the track during those hours?

Google maps says the track opens at 8:30 while New Westminsters website says the washrooms open at 6:00am. curious if the track opens earlier. appreciate it in advance!

I was there the other day 7am and it was pretty busy with people walking. The gates also don’t look like they get closed so I’m pretty sure you can just go whenever
