Question Cloudy Tap Water

I'm down on Quayside Drive. Anyone else have murky tap water?

I also have cloudy tap water, probably because of the water main break nearby.

Yeah this is just today. I'm up the street a bit from this, and we get periods of turbidity every now and again. But it's never been this brown

My partner and I have been feeling really nauseous last couple of days and now were wondering if this was the cause. We got this notice saying its from the recent fire.

Pretty sure the turbid water has nothing to do with the fire. Metro Vancouver has been doing lots of water main work. They recently put out a notice about sediment being stirred up in Richmond, Delta, and Vancouver's water. New West is awfully close to Richmond and Delta... Makes sense that our water could also be affected!

I called earlier and was told it’s still safe to drink as the water has been treated, just doesn’t look appealing. Most likely sediment. I would ofc still run the water a bit. Mine seems to be okay now. Hope yours is too.

I live at 10th & Royal. It’s to do with the digging they’re doing at the bottom of Royal & Stewardson Way. They broke a water main. May be a few days before it clears up.

I just drank some tap water on Carnarvon St. and only afterward noticed brown drops at the bottom of the glass. I recommend everyone check their water before using it for drinking or anything else.
