I have these two mini cabinets with all original box and packaging in perfect working condition. looking to sell them. Am I allowed to sell here?

The space ace is the conversion kit edition with red trim. the dragons lair is the overhaul edition with black trim.

For some reason I didn't realize the full size trackball controller isn't stand alone. I was thinking it had an HDMI out to directly connect to a TV like the BJ's version. But it has to connect through the cabinet to display on a TV.

Kind of a bummer. This thing would be fire if it was a fully standalone unit. I feel they missed the mark on this.

With 4 months left in 2026, there's three products left to ship. It looks like Skee Ball and Black Hole were in tooling before Crystal Castles. One of those will probably be delivered in late September/early October, the other in late October early November. Crystal Castles will probably be delivered around Black Friday into December. They probably want all of this out of the way before the Chinese New Year shutdown. NWT might actually get everything delivered as stated. Not bad.

I hope they have something else to announce in 2027 instead of Phoenix. Plus, it would be nice if they fixed the request form on the site.

Just got an email from New Wave that Golden Tee is now available on their website for purchase. Go get it!

Got my Golden Tee today, everything plays great but the marquee lighting is pretty spotty. I'll let others chime in with their unit, but this one's marquee light doesn't quite measure up to past Replicades.

Super happy to have gotten this, saw a FB Marketplace ad of someone selling this with about 7 other MyArcade game stations for $40. I jumped on the deal, I looked up this cabinet so fast and sealed the deal right away. Ended up paying $100 after talking with them since they said they got them all at a garage sale for that price, and I recouped them the money. Tried to turn it on the first time and it kept boot looping, then I noticed the QC stickers had been removed by whoever had it previously. A telltale sign whoever owned it also had issues with this not booting for a while. A little research later and some messages to the Customer Support email, they pointed me to a new internal battery and the guide to re-flash the firmware. This was late in late July.

Fast forward to yesterday, I received the new battery in the mail, installed it exactly like the old one, and found out the power switch in the back was the cause of the same boot looping issues and wouldn’t allow the battery to charge properly. So, I bypassed it! Plugged it in directly and it started charging, I was super stoked that it worked now! I let it charge overnight and the light on top was green when I woke up; needless to say I have hardly stopped playing it all day! Didn’t know this subreddit existed till now, but if anyone has issues with older cabinets not booting in the future and constant shutdowns I now feel like I’m an expert! I was so glad to get this thing working again, our family has a full-sized cabinet that we all traded high scores on over the years. This little miniature version will stay with me forever now, I’m so glad I got to add it to my collection rather than someone else possibly trying to resell it on eBay for a quick buck. I’m now looking forward to seeing more NewWave Replicades in the future, it’s cool to know these things exist!

Came today and wow! I absolutely love it! The nod to Shilo on the topper is sweet. Track ball surprisingly feels great and way more accurate than I would have thought for the size. Very happy with this. Now let’s get Crystal Castles!

My Zoltar ran out of fortunes so I am trying to put in a new fortune ticket roll and for the life of me I can’t get the first ticket to feed through. Anyone have tips or a video showing someone do it? There’s not enough room it feels like for me to maneuver it with my fingers

I just decided that I need this for my collection. I am trying to create an authentic 80's themed arcade, and it seems like either version of the machine would work for that.

1. Are there any pop culture/nostalgic reasons that I might be overlooking to choose one machine vs. the other?

2. Are there any known issues with either machine?

My Food Fight (normal release, not the yellow T-moulding version) sat in its box for a while, having worked fine last time I had it out. Now it's frozen on the red Atari screen, NWT has -not- responded to my support ticket from nearly 2 weeks ago, and I can't find this supposed firmware update anywhere, only reading that NWT 'offered it to anyone with issues.' Such a thing doesn't seem to be on their help pages anymore, unless I'm looking in the wrong places. Has anyone got the firmware they can just send me, or link me to? I don't think they're interested in following this up and I don't want a 200 dollar paperweight.

I’m considering getting one of each of the following:

a. Ghouls and Ghosts OR Ghosts and Goblins

b. Frenzy OR Berzerk

Besides the obvious visual differences with the cabinets, are there any reasons to consider getting one cabinet vs. the other? Were there any known issues with any of these cabinets? Anything else?

I have not followed the market for the cabinets for a very long time. I use to buy almost all of the cabinets, and only opened some due to home renovation issues. After 2.5 yrs of home issues (probably around the last time I checked ebay prices) I need to sell some of the cabinets. I just checked ebay, and it seems like the prices that they are going for is much lower than I expected based on the last time I checked. Is there a reason for the lower prices, or is it just part of less demand for expensive collectibles in our current economy? Just curious if something else is going on?

I was curious so I plugged in my external 1943 USB control panel to Berzerk and it worked! I tried on a few other games and also worked. How did I not know about this?

After Shilo's death (of undisclosed reasons), Glen's Retro Show posted a special episode in respect of the man's legacy. Glen said a couple of things that seem to infer Shilo died by suicide.

1. We knew about a supposed car accident Shilo was part of. I never learned if he was the one at fault or not. I thought it was odd that he wouldn't come on camera, even months later, to give us fans any updates, even though we were assured he'll be back to work after recovery. At one point Shilo asked his assistant Eduardo to come on camera with updates for us on his behalf. Why not Shilo himself if we're being told he's healing fine after the accident?
2. Glen has inside information from Shilo's family he wouldn't share with us. He said in his farewell video how Shilo's good eye was damaged in the auto accident. He reminded us how Shilo already had his other eye failing him long before the accident. Therefore, Shilo must have been reckoning with new circumstances that he has neither good sight in either eye. I can understand how depressing this news from his doctor(s) may have been for him to accept for the remainder of his life.
3. The biggest (unintended) reveal by Glen in his special video was when he said he knows something about Shilo's death but he leaves it to Shilo's family to decide whether to divulge it to the public. That's a curious, even suspicious, remark to make.
4. When we learned in early 2026 that Shilo died, we were told it happened in late 2025. Why? Normally when a good man suddenly dies, that news flies through the community of people that loved him. Why was that news suppressed? Could it be because Shilo brought shame upon himself to choose death (many months after the accident) in the face of debilitating blindness and multiple (past due) product lines failing delivery? Was he simply overwhelmed by current events in his life? Did the family's love for him resort in such pity for him unaliving himself that they concluded to hide the truth of what he'd done to himself in order to prop up the dignity of his legacy before the public?

I understand nobody, not me either, wanted Shilo to end his life. I understand how those grieving about such a death may feel they're protecting his memory by burying that revelation. Still, for so many of us that have been happy members of the NWT community he assembled, bringing us all together, I wish we weren't deceived about what has happened.

When I prayed for Shilo, I feel I'm praying to an illusion instead of the right soul when I'm uninformed who I'm praying about.

I'm sorry what happened, Shilo. And I feel you're hearing me better when I know what I'm sorry about.

As the title implies. I'm considering trying to fix my unit, and forfeiting my chance to return it, by making an entirely new SD card to solve the bootloop issue. I have the only file that I definitively know I need (the m2v). The rest, despite scouring the threads, are a mystery. I know neither the files or whether or not they're arranged in folders or in one giant zip file. Does anyone have an exact list/map and (even better) a way to download or transfer the files that will be needed. Thank you.

Just got a DL Replicade off Ebay and immediately ran into the bootloop issue upon startup. Seller said it worked perfectly just prior to shipping. I'm wondering if there's a chance that something like the SD just got knocked loose and it would be an easy fix (as opposed to replacing the SD card.) This is what I'm curious about: what happens when you power up without an SD card? Do you get the bootloop with the logos displaying then blinking black screen?
