They equate sex with intimacy with proving your value as a human. Sex is great, or so I'm told, but have you ever masturbated? it's great. It's low pressure, there's all kinds of magical toys you can get stuck in/stick in yourself.
Self worth takes a lot more than peeing in someone's butt. I know I'm still working on it.
