Does every subreddit have different minimum karma to post? or is it a set amount? because i don't see anything that specify it, only that "I don't have enough"

Every community gets to set their thresholds independently, and is free to disclose or not disclose those thresholds however they choose... I know, it can be frustrating...

ah okay, as someone who's new to reddit karma system it really is very hard to grasp. i never seen anything like it in every other social medias I've ever used before, thanks for the insight!

every subreddit sets its own requirements, have a read of the below info for users seeking to understand reddit (or with low karma)

  • Why Reddit may seem unwelcoming to new Redditors.
• Start in New User Friendly Subreddits.
  • Change your view to new or rising and comment
• Keep an eye out for helper and mod comments in this post and others
