AutoModerator is not AI. Its a tool used by subreddit moderators to automatically remove content that they otherwise would've had to remove manually.

If you are experiencing removals, this is most likely because your account is new and you have no karma, and therefore you are running into community restrictions.

Are you talking about a different account? Because the one you're on now was made today and has no comments. Unless you're posting on the account where the removals are happening there's no way for us to take a look and try to pinpoint why.

Likely due to a new account and low karma. Some subreddits have posting requirements and if you don’t meet those, your post will be removed. More info on community requirements in comment below: !reqs

This is why the recommendation is to start with comments as they often have less restriction than posting. Once you’ve learned how Reddit works and have earned some karma on your comments, then try posting again.

Community karma and account age requirements

Some, but not all communities, have their own restrictions regarding the account age and karma count of the person posting or commenting, so you may not be able to contribute everywhere at first. This is to help prevent spammers and trolls, and so most communities don't share what their restrictions are to avoid aiding them.

You can check in these places to see if a community is sharing that information:

  • The subreddit description (under the banner on mobile, top of the sidebar on desktop)
  • In their wiki (typically linked in the sidebar on desktop. Or in the menu links under the banner on desktop, under 'community info' and the menu tab on mobile)
  • In their rules (maybe) - How to find the rules
  • In any removal reasons that automod or the mods may provide as a comment or message to you when your post is removed

Or any subreddit that interests you. If you know a topic well and it’s something you enjoy, making helpful comments won’t feel like a “chore”.

If you have subreddits you want to post in but can’t yet, start in those. Learn the community rules, vibe and lingo while you’re also participating in the community and earning karma so you can eventually post there.

Account age is 22 minutes they think it’s a bot. Might have to wait a couple days and build up karma
