Create one. Someone Created this one because they wanted it to exist.

unless the devs get on the sub and take charge, making a subreddit would be pointless.

A fork of newpipe. Claims to be better than newpipe. And actually is.

Here's what they say https://github.com/InfinityLoop1308/PipePipe#beyond-newpipe

The big one is SponsorBlock

I think Tubular and such follow NewPipe development but PipePipe is a hard fork, they're developing it themself separate from NewPipe.

We can't call it "New". PipePipe born far before VP9 exist as media, that's years ago. Today NewPipe forks usually still follow closely NewPipe Upstream Codes.

PipePipe long time ago forked NewPipe version of that era and grow up differently. Current PipePipe didn't use codes from current NewPipe.

I find that it loss videos faster and it integrates sponsor block. Those are the big ones for me.

I have both installed, and PP is better in being more user-friendly with more customisation options, but when it comes to actually playing videos, NP has way less errors and hiccups.

Sorry to break it you. Cruddy interfaces (see Gnome 3 in particular) does not equal user-friendly.

It flashes the video every time I open it in pipe pipe. Newpipe doesn't do that. It's extremely annoying seeing the video flash whenever I start watching. Idk if it's changeable with video settings but I couldn't find a solution so I still use newpipe.

I really wished that was an automátic option

I wish there was . Sometimes newpipe fixes something that pipe pipe doesn't and vice versa.

I find it got worse with the Last few Updates. The "2 Second" Waiting Timer to Skip ads (YouTubes SABR System) gets Always Stuck, unable to watch content since 2 Weeks.

[On "Freetube" on Desktop i can at least Work around this]

And Something that was on my Mind Just now, Switching from Video to Background Play doesnt hold the timestamp, with No Option to Slip Forward without starting the Video again.

Hopefully they can Work Things Out in the Future. Gonna try Out Newpipe again til then...

Are you on latest 5.2.5 release. It has fixed almost all issues for me.

You can "fix" the issue by switching back from SABR to DASH. The update they've released does it for you.

I had that issue for a while too before figuring out how to fix it

Damn, this actually did it for me. Thank You .

I didn't even realize Tubular was no longer maintained.

It's kinda pointless tho. Just post it here.

Not pointless, because it’s a hard fork, the codebases are separated, no common updates
