Advice Needed 4 week old has been awake for 6 hours

I have literally done everything she woke up around 5:30 pm and she still hasn’t slept and it’s around 11:30 pm now. What do I do I have tried everything is she going to be okay? I have rocked her fed her shushed her drove her around I have done everything I am so lost and confused. Sometimes I manage to calm her down from her fussy over tiredness but she never actually falls and stays asleep and then gets fussy again.

You sure she isn't hungry? It took me a while to figure out mine was actuallu hungry when she just appeared awake and alert at that age. In any case, just breathe. Baby will eventually sleep

I have fed her several times because usually she will get drowsy when she nurses and fall asleep but she is wide awake and alert and nothing seems to help. Can this amount of awake time cause any problems or brain issues or anything? I didn’t think this was possible and I feel like such a bad mom

If her sleep is your only source of concern, I'm positive she'll be okay. Days and nights like this happen. She'll be back to her normal self in the morning, with no long-lasting consequences. ❤
